Any level of sewing skill is welcome!

We will be making a belt base that is custom-fit to the contours of  your body. You can also use this base to make a cabaret belt. I will give you lots of design ideas for tribal belts and show you examples of embellishment and closure options. You will receive detailed instructional handouts so you will have all the information you need to complete your belt.

 To register:
 Please send an email to
haleh_dance@yahoo.com if you would like to
 register.

 Cost:
$25 if you register before November 9th
$35 at the door if there is space.

Please bring the following supplies, which are available at any fabric
 store:
 1. A piece of pre-shrunk heavy fabric (denim or cotton duck work well).  It should be cut to the following size: 24″ x the amount needed to go  around your hips plus six inches. Ideally, the fabric will be black. If this  is too confusing for you, don’t worry - just bring your fabric. :-)
 2. Straight pins
