beginning belly dance classes in Olympia in September
Dance classes with Kashani director of Mas Uda start in
September……
My Monday evening beginner class starts September 10. My
Wed afternoon beginner class at the Evergreen State College
will be later in September (the college hasn’t given me the
schedule yet). The Monday class almost always fills up, so
if you want to be assured of a slot, mail your registration
in right away, include your name, phone number, mailing address
and an e-mail address if you want an e-mail confirmation that
your registration was received. I look forward to seeing some
of you in class soon!

BEGINNER CLASSES taught by Kashani, Director of MAS-UDA Middle
Eastern Dancers
2 options –
1- Wednesdays 3:30-5:00 – at the College Rec Center-

2- Mondays, 5:30-7:00 at the Woman’s Club
– 1002 Washington St. (upstairs) $50 September 10-
November 5. 20 students maximum. Accepting students
through September 17 if class isn’t full.
We’ll start with warm-ups and stretches and progress to
basic steps and step combinations. We’ll also learn
some of the common rhythms of the Middle East and how
to play them on finger cymbals (zills). You’ll also
have the opportunity to learn some costuming and

Great exercise in a fun environment. Belly dance works seldom
used muscles, while at the same time it gently stretches and
invigorates.
