Celebrating the many expressions of dance across the globe,
soloists and groups of all genres present, exchange, and
inspire. In the same spirit as an open-mike or jam-session for
musicians, poets, or comedians, this dance forum welcomes
performances from seasoned professionals to courageous
neophytes.
A place for all of us to get to know the rich variety of our
art form as well as create a platform for dance artists
experimenting across genres.
There is still some space in the January or February lineup.
Email your dance spot request to planetsuzanna@gmail.com, and
come prepared with an act of 9 minutes max with accompanying
music on one CD to specification. Or you are encouraged to
bring one or two live acoustic musicians, keeping in mind that
performance space may be very limited.

–Review by Theresa Edwards–
In the heart of Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood, The Northside
Grill is offering up delicious fare for all the senses. American
and Moroccan cuisine, paired with dances from around the globe,
delight audiences on the first Sunday of each month…. Dancers
and small troupes of all genres present their artistry in the
spirit of sharing and discovery. Delightful surprises are
quickly becoming the norm at The Northside!
The Northside Grill has a relaxed, open, friendly feeling, and
the service is great. Billed as “Where North Africa meets North
Seattle,” the menu includes favorites from both American and
Moroccan cuisine. Burgers and sandwiches, Moroccan brochettes
and specialties, and several vegetarian offerings give diners
plenty of affordable (yes!) options to choose from. Yummy
desserts are also available, as are beer and wine. Everyone I’ve
talked with has said their meal was very good.
