NWBD: HERSTORY of the PYRAMID LOUNG Nite

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Pyramid Lounge Anniversary Show is this coming Monday.
Gosh, in 2003 I left my Seattle teaching post for a 5 week
tour.

My students were a bit lost for that time period, so
they started hanging out and practicing together. That
led to some of them becoming…. Da tata da!
Raqs Serpentine.

These ladies started hosting the Pyramid Lounge Night
on the first Monday of the month at the Capital Arts
Center. They dance as a troupe, or solo and then spot
light a different professional dancer each show as
well as gave new dancers a chance to get their hips
wet in the performance world! Alot of memorable nights
spent there. It eventually moved to the Hi Dive in
Fremont,  just down the hill from VDP Dance Studio
across from the Lenin Statue (very convenient).

The Hi Dive has a cool stage and lights, good food and
drinks and the show is always the perfect length for a
week night. So come on out!

This marks their 4th anniversary and I hope you can
come out. The theme is “Stepping Out” and all the
performers have to do something different. Get tickets

I AM VERY PROUD OF THESE LADIES FOR USING THEIR, TIME,

COOL EVENT!
