bellydancer from Bellingham.  Winner of the Professional
category 2008 Emerald Rain Belly Dance Competition.

Turkish Roman (Gypsy)
Get ready to dance…Turkish Style!  This overview will
introduce traditional Turkish Roma (Gypsy) techniques &
isolations along with exercises to bring freedom of expression
to your dance.  Steps & gestures will be broken down - then
layered together while focusing on the Turkish Roma 9/8 rhythm.    

Turkish Oriental
Turkish Oriental stage dancing is fast, furious & full of spunk.
This workshop will take you through the various elements of a
Turkish Oriental set which will include ideas & techniques
commonly seen in Turkey for intro, veil work, drum solo, floor
work, finale & exit.  Be ready for a workout: these girls move
fast!!!

Bad news in Santa Cruz.
Sulyman El Coyote,
the musical genius of the dynamic musical duo of Sirocco has
lost his house in the recent Santa Cruz fires. He barely got
out with his life, the cloths on his back,  a few of his
instruments and his lap top at 5:30 am in the morning. He
returned to his home had been only to  find ashes. Everything
gone. Tools, collectibles, art, instruments, photographs. . .
His x wife Nicky had alot of things stored there as well. It
is very devastating as any of us can imagine. He is staying with
his son and his family in CA. Hanya asked me to post this where
ever I can.

offers a platform for professional development and experimentation

Sorry about the confusion, I got a little enthusiastic and
ahead of myself.  Here are the details regarding the meeting
at my house:

Petrushka Pavlovich of Fact & Fable Productions;
(www.factandfable.com) will be presenting an internet and video
information sharing session for dancers and artists who want to
learn how to use the internet to make a better living for
themselves.  She is here to answer your questions.

Petrushka and I have collaborated on producing the videos on my
website.  She also built my website, (www.flambellico.com) and
is currently optimizing (attracting and driving traffic) to it
on the World Wide Web

This meeting will cover:

A. How to get traffic to your site.
B. How to know if you need a website or a web presence. 
C. Why videos on the web are becoming the most important
marketing tool to date. 
D. How to most effectively circulate your videos on the internet.
E. What the World Fusion Dance website is all about, how it works
as a cost effective internet marketing tool for dancers.
F.  Any questions you have are welcome!

Petrushka has been researching and keeping up, as best as anyone
can (!!!) how to make the internet an amazing marketing machine
available to all Artists.   As a fellow Artist she wants to share
what she has learned over the past 5 yrs. on Internet Marketing.
